Owned and operated by Jessica Pugliese, JPR Barrister & Solicitor focuses on affordable, accessible, and approachable legal services. Born in Sudbury and raised in a local small business, Jessica understands our unique community and its needs.  She understands the need for honesty, flexibility, and dedicated representation.

Jessica graduated cum laude from Laurentian University before attending the University of Ottawa to obtain her Juris Doctorate. She was active in her law school community, where she served two consecutive terms as the Director of Communications on the Employment and Labour Law Student Society and was a participant in Family Law in Practice group events. She succeeded as an oral advocate, earning a semi-finalist position at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Law moot. She was also a finalist at the University of Oxford International Intellectual Property Law moot, where she was the highest ranked individual competitor from North America and third worldwide.
Jessica completed her articles with a reputable Sudbury law firm where she previously worked as a summer student. After being called to the bar, she opened her own practice in the heart of Sudbury. She also works with the Sudbury Community Legal Clinic which provides free legal services for low income residents of the City of Greater Sudbury and surrounding communities.

Jessica is currently sits on the executive board of the Sudbury District Law Association as the Secretary. Jessica was also a Family Law Session Leader for Sudbury Colloquium 2022. She has previously served as the SDLA's New/Young Lawyers Representative. Jessica also sits as a board member for the Elizabeth Fry Society of Northern Ontario. JPR Barrister & Solicitor was voted Platinum two years in a row in the Sudbury Community Votes "Best Lawyers" Category.
